Preparing Our Town for VE Day Commemorations
Today, our team has been hard at work preparing key areas in town for tomorrow's VE Day events.
We've focused on tidying and refreshing the Peace Garden to ensure it's a welcoming space for reflection and celebration. The War Memorial has also been carefully cleaned and restored to honour the significance of the day.
In addition, we've made sure the area outside Superdrug is neat and presentable, contributing to a respectful atmosphere for all who will be attending.
We’re looking forward to marking this important occasion with our community.
