Wild Meadows Cut and Rake
At Saltash Town Council, we’re committed to being open and transparent about the services and facilities being delivered on behalf of the community. Sharing before-and-after updates demonstrates how public spaces are being maintained and improved, keeping you informed about ongoing work, and showing how the Town Council are working to support Saltash's wellbeing, environment and quality of life.
The Service Delivery team have attended to cut and rake the wild meadows maintained by Saltash Town Council.
Throughout the growing seasons, leaving these small wild habitats to their own devices presents a fantastic opportunity for local wildlife to flourish - especially butterflies, bees and grasshoppers!
At the end of the season, we schedule a visit to cut back the areas. This reduces the risk of fires, makes the area safe for residents, and encourages growing for the next season.
These updates also demonstrate how council tax is being invested locally, while giving members of the public the opportunity to share feedback on what matters most to them regarding the services the Town Council provide.
