Saltash Library Hub

Saltash Community Hub is your local library in the town of Saltash, Cornwall. The Hub is managed by Saltash Town Council in partnership with Cornwall Council Libraries to bring you great books to read and all sorts of free fantastic monthly community events and activities to attend.

The popular click and collect service remains accessible to the public. Order online at home or in the library.


SALTASH LIBRARY HUB IS TEMPORARILY LOCATED AT SALTASH WESLEY METHODIST CHURCH. 

During the final refurbishment project, Saltash Library Hub will be closed to the public and staff to ensure safety. The library service will be running from the temporary venue for the duration of the refurbishment works. 


📚 Exciting News from Saltash Town Council Library Hub! 🎉

We're delighted to announce that the refurbishment of the Saltash Town Council Library Hub is nearly complete, and we'll soon be welcoming you back to our newly improved community space.

To enable the library team to move back into the refurbished building, the temporary library at Saltash Wesley Methodist Church will close at 5:00pm on Monday 29 June. This will be the final day of service before we reopen at our permanent home on Plougastel Drive.

🌟 What's New?

Saltash Town Council is excited to welcome residents into the newly refurbished community hub. Our investment in the building has created:

  • An accessible public toilet
  • A refreshed and modern interior
  • A bright, open-plan community space for everyone to enjoy

🎉 Grand Reopening Event

Join us from 10:00am on Friday 10 July for a special reopening celebration, featuring a variety of activities and workshops throughout the day.

Further details and the full programme will be available on our Facebook page and website. Admission will be free, but tickets will be required and can be booked via Eventbrite or Saltash Town Council Guildhall from Monday 6th July.  (subject to availability).

ℹ️ Library Groups and Activities

Please note that all regular library groups and activities will be temporarily suspended from 11:30 30 June until 13 July while the move back to the Library Hub takes place.

Thank you for your patience, understanding and continued support throughout these improvement works. It is greatly appreciated by both Saltash Town Council and the library team.
