Cut Back for Elwell Woods

At Saltash Town Council, we’re committed to being open and transparent about the services and facilities being delivered on behalf of the community. Sharing before-and-after updates demonstrates how public spaces are being maintained and improved, keeping you informed about ongoing work, and showing how the Town Council are working to support Saltash's wellbeing, environment and quality of life.

The Service Delivery Team have attended some sections of Elwell Woods, to litter pick, clear paths and cut back growth.

This is to ensure paths and trails are kept reasonably clear and tidy, making exploring and walking easier for residents and visitors to Saltash Town.

We don't clear entirely; while we do aim to make areas safe for people, we still need to support local wildlife where we can, by leaving behind plenty of natural space.

As always, it does remain a wooded area, and caution is still advised!

These updates also demonstrate how council tax is being invested locally, while giving members of the public the opportunity to share feedback on what matters most to them regarding the services the Town Council provide.
